Local Crafters and savvy small businesses know that the Sourland Mountain has an important role in making this area such a great place to live and do business. They help the Sourland Conservancy protect, promote and preserve the largest contiguous forest in central New Jersey: the Sourland Mountain.

This region, located between the city of Lambertville and Hillsborough Township, is a 90 square-mile hard diabase ridge that is one of the three major areas of unbroken habitat in NJ. It provides healthy leisure opportunities, a chance to get away from the stress of everyday life and enhances the quality of life for those communities based in and around it.
